Terms and Conditions

General – These terms and conditions set out what is required from guests (“you”, “your party”) by Phoenix Hotel Liverpool (“Us”, “We”, “Our”) and what is provided by Us to You.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions – Upon booking your room you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. A further copy will be provided on check in.

For purposes of identification verification – the card used to pay for your stay must be presented on check in. Photographic ID is also requested, acceptable forms of ID are:

  • Passport
  • Driving license
  • ID card

If you are unable to provide identification the Phoenix Hotel Liverpool reserve the right to refuse access to the room.

Check In

A pre-authorisation will be taken by card on check in. A cash deposit will not be accepted.

The pre-authorisation is £150 and is based on per room and not per booking.

The pre-authorisation does not debit from the account, this will show as a pending transaction and once released will go back into the available balance. This can take 3-15 working days depending on your banking provider. As this is not a payment this will not show as a transaction on the account.

Our check in is from 11am and check out is 3pm. If you require an early check in or late check out this can be arranged for an additional fee of £20 per hour and is subject to availability. Should any guest occupy the room after 2pm then they will be charged the full nights rate.


All Guests aged 18 and under must be accompanied by a responsible parent/guardian. If it is found that there is underage drinking taking place, then the Phoenix Hotel are entitled to evict the party from the hotel.

Only guests listed on the booking are permitted in the rooms. Any person that wishes to stay must book and pay for their own room and deposit.

Residents of the hotel must not breach any of the outlined terms and conditions, in doing so they risk deductions being made to their deposit.

  • The Phoenix Hotel is a strictly NO SMOKING hotel. Smoking in any room or corridor in the hotel will result in the full retention of the deposit.
  • Phoenix Hotel Liverpool reserves the right to charge outside of the deposit if required, the value of the deposit taken will be determined by management. Charges will be applied for any damages caused to the property, extra cleaning or loss of revenue due to anti-social behaviour.
  • Should any loss be caused to the hotel and or its guests then you as the lead booker are responsible for that loss and will be liable to pay the Phoenix Hotel Liverpool the amount required to remedy the loss.
  • Should any charges be applied to your bill and not paid on check out, this will be deducted from the deposit.

If you or your group breach any of the terms and Conditions, the Phoenix Hotel reserve the right to;

  • Cancel your reservation and eject you from the premises (if deemed appropriate)
  • Refuse any future reservations/ refuse entry onto the premises of the Phoenix Hotel
  • Retain security deposit (where appropriate) to cover any losses


Cancellations Policy

Advanced Purchase Rate – Full payment at the time of booking is required unless otherwise stated. This rate is non-refundable or changeable. In the event of a no show or cancellation, the hotel is entitled to charge the full amount to the credit card used as guarantee.

Group bookings – A 25% deposit for group bookings is required at the time of booking. Full payment must be made 4 weeks prior to the arrival date. If payment is not made within this time frame, the Phoenix Hotel reserve the right to charge the full amount to the credit card used a guarantee.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any deposits made to bookings are forfeited as per terms of rate plans/package booked.

Alterations– If you wish to make changes or amendments to your booking, we will do our best to comply with your request, within reason. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so, and we accept no liability for any loss, damage or additional expense which may be incurred in the circumstance. For any arrival delays please speak with a member of reservations as these may be treated as cancellations otherwise.

Packages and Offers

Free Uber ride – This offer is valid for direct bookings only for guests occupying Superior or Deluxe rooms and does not run in conjunction with other offers unless stated.

In room packages – Payment for all in room packages must be paid in full two days prior to arrival.

Group offers – All group offers are based on full occupancy of the room and are subject to availability.
